The follow-up is often harder to make than the debut. In this case it was not only harder, but longer, faster, and deeper. Her loins still pounded with her heartbeat, her breath shallow and her cheeks flush. But this beast refused to stay down and her passion flared at the sight. *cough* This Album Is Dum - twenty-one tracks structured like a late-night pirate broadcast: six interludes stitched between jungle anthems, rave weapons, pop moments, and genre hybrids that have no business working. Surf rock, 60s girl-group pop, Swedish folk, maqam scales, and whatever “actually listenable breakcore” is supposed to be - all of it gets pounded in the backroom with full consent. It’s not a joke record that happens to be well-made. It’s a well-made record that refuses to stop joking. Back to the nineties. Play more bassline.
